Stars Basketball offers clinics and trainings designed to teach athletes the fundamentals skills of basketball in a FUN and exciting environment. Each athlete receives expert instruction, through a positive, encouraging approach. Athletes enjoy learning basketball fundamentals through a variety of drills, personal instruction, demonstrations, and fun competitive games. Stars Basketball offers these things and more as we strive for excellence, focusing on instilling a desire to learn while improving basketball skills. The clinics and trainings are designed for BOYS and GIRLS of all ages and all ability levels. Stars Basketball vision is “to reach as many children as possible, to train, mentor, and motivate, one child at a time, one day at a time, to last a lifetime.”
Coach Star Stevens was a former basketball star at Oakland Community College and All-American at Wisconsin-Parkside University. He had a 3 year Professional Basketball Career with the CBA Great Lakes Storm and he was the Associate Head Coach of the Mid -Michigan Destroyers, a Premier Basketball League (PBL) Team. Coach Star currently trains youth of all ages with personal development skill sessions and he is the Assistant Coach for Waterford Mott High School Varsity Boys Basketball team. Having worked his way through college while dedicating countless hours to training and studying, he truly understands the student athlete and how education and athletics can work hand in hand together to make a more productive, well-rounded individual.
